The car is coming along nicely thanks to the help of Craig my father zach and all the fellow dsmers helping me out within the classifieds!
Tonite I replaced the Right Rear wheel bearing now I can hear myself think! Its almost like switching from a john deere to a cadillac it was horrid! Im going to post a how to I took lots of pics
I also worked on installing the 2gb headlights front bumper today. I recently picked up the 2ga eclipse rear bumper from out local PAP for about $30.00 but Im still work in the works on the tail lights and sideskirts. Ive learned Patience is Virtue. It wont matter if the car is done tomorrow or 3 months from now. If done correctly I can budget and still drive my dream car!
Once I have the body panels installed me and dad are going to start prep work and then off to MAACO.. yes MAACO its not about the paint its about the prepwork and Im confident that myself after painting a few cars and my father who used to do bodywork and paint for a living can make the 2g smoother than a babys ass.
Im shooting for a 2ga/b GSX black with the gold wheels. It will be pure sex
I also installed the high wing. I was not looking forward to this as I figured it would be a PITA but to my surprise the OEM wing follow the contour of the hatch nicely and installing it was a breeze with a little ingenuity from my father and I.
