Well this weekend started out with a trip to spartanburg sc (a 2 hour drive) to pick up a set of gsx wheels that turned out to be a very good deal for only 125
I have been having bad problems with one of my gst wheels not holding air and this set was cheaper than any one wheel I could find anywhere else, plus they look much better. I toyed with the idea of getting some lightweight wheels but decided that money was better spent elsewhere. Anyway the tires only have a bit of tread left on them so Im going first thing in the morning to see my tire guy and see what he wants for some faulken 452s Ive been looking at. And to tell him I replaced my tie rod ends and to hook me up with an alignment.
Anyhow, after finishing up some work at a buddy's house this morning, I took to changing my oil and taking all the padding off under the carpet and all that stuff up by the firewall. I also swapped out my front driver's seat for a tenzo seat that came with my awd parts car. I was a bit disappointed to see that the tenzo seat weighed about as much as my stock black leather seat
Im going to try it out for a bit to see if I like it but the main reason I was going to swap it was for the weight.
After all that was done I decided to go for a ride to see if my tune was still on point. This consisted of a 25 minute drive out to nowhere's ville to do a couple 3rd gear pulls. And my tune was right on still. 11.2 across the board at 22 psi and no dips in my timing curve. I hope we can get a couple more guys down to go to the dyno in myrtle beach in march. If not I'll just have to find a dyno around here somewhere.
