Well after trying to diagnose my ac problem I put my ego aside and went to those 20 buck ac diagnostic places. Comes out the compressor isn't working... How do I confirm that? I see a belt moving but I'm not all too familiar with this.

I tried searching for pics, but if anyone remembers a thread with some lmk. I'm referring to taking out the compressor on a fwd without lifting the engine. I read you can take the brake reservoir out and go from there but to someone with experience lmk.

That link helped somewhat. But I remember reading you can take it out without lifting the engine. Like taking the brake reservoir out and that's it. Can anyone confirm this?

The compressor will come out through the top without messing with the motor mounts. There are a couple of loom brackets you need to unbolt and move to the side. There's just a bit of clearance for it, but it works.

I was told by several shops that the ac compressor on our cars is to least like be the cause of the ac not working are you sure thats what the problem is? Mine doesn't work either but i need to add freon to it and i have that i just don't have the gauge to add it.
