Bought this car awhile back. Have not touched it performance wise. I was driving the other day and I started to notice my a/f gage was lightly hinting in the red zone, pegged low lean. After a bit more driving, it pegged low lean bright red and check engine light came on. When I got home, I put the scanner on it and got back p0135. Here's my question: does having the a/f gauge mean I have a wideband? I'm not sure. I noticed the o2 sensor at the bottom of the manifold. But I'm not entirely sure how that gauge gets a signal. The cars definitely running in limp mode. The exhaust smells like an 8th grade bon fire
I wont leave this problem. However, if my options are $300 mitsubishi o2 sensor OR pay the extra for dsmlink and hook everything up the right way, I think it might be time to drive old whitey for a bit
