The search feature doesn't know it's an acronym. It will search for whatever you type in the box.

It sounds like the shop may not know what they are talking about either, ask them to be more specific. They may also be referring to the FPR solenoid. I have heard of German cars like VW, Audi, BMW having a cold start valve which was like an extra injector that gave more fuel at cold start ups. As far as I know neither the FIAV or the FPR solenoid are normally referred to as the cold start valve but they would probably be the closest thing to that description?
