97 Talon upgrades on a 95 Talon? easy to do?

I have a 95 Talon TSI and prefer the look of the newer 97 styly bumper cover and raised rear spoiler. Will these just bolt on my car or does per say the front cover require a different inner support ect. Mine is torn and needs to be replaced anyway.

All talons use the 95-96 Eclipse headlights so you can put the 97 Talon front bumper on the 95 Talon. Good luck trying to find a high rise spoiler off a 97-98 Talon.

as said ^.

a 97-98 bumper will fit right in. you may want to consider getting the stock fogs for the entire conversion.

the high rise is few and far between and DOES not bolt up to stock location. you will have to cover up your stock holes when you switch.

keep in mind that you won't have the cool side strakes we have

Hmmm, actually he would have the side strikes..........but only on the rear bumper, not the doors.

I was going to do that conversion on my 95 tsi, went with a 2gb eclipse...........mmm good

yes you can purchase them, like any other factory part. you just have to PRECISELY drill for the tabs in the back when installing them

You'll need to drill 4 holes on the door and 2 on the rear fender. I took them off mine and trashed them cause I thought they were ugly. If I knew someone wanted them I would have kept it.

Also if you wanted to turn your 95 into a true 97+ you would have to lose the sideskirts

funny how most 97's (including myself ) are buying up 2g eclipse skirts and putting those on..

heh yea StayTuned's 2gb talon looks badass with 2gb eclipse side skirts. I think they are lower than the stock talons.

yes the 97-99 kits look better but i don't have trouble with scrubbing the ground or my side shirts coming off. i had a 98 gst before i know the struggle of the body kit , now i have a 96 tsi and no more worrying. ta lon

and yes, you will need 97-99 headlights if you do the 97-99 front conversion

my side skirts have never come off, and i take my car offroading so much hitting piles of sand going 50..
