Just look at a 97 front bumper. It looks the same. Which I believe was the point Defiant was trying to get across. The only difference between the 95-96 and 97-98 Talons were the bumpers, and diferent side molding (and no side skirts) on the 97-98. Also the wing was different.

So, if you want just a good picture of a 97-98 talon bumper on a 95-96, just look at a 97 Talon as they're identical from the front (if the bumper swap is done).

The only difference in looks amongst 2G DSMs is the bumpers and lights. If you pull the doorcaps, fender caps and ends off an Eclipse and a Talon, only the logo on the steering wheel hub will distinguish them (and wheels). Talons never got the "updated" Mits headlights, so the gap doesn't happen to them. Consequently, looking for a "conversion" on a Talon is just a matter of looking at whatever year's bumpers you liked best. The sheet metal is essentially the same amongst the models.
