97 talon body

im looking for a 1997 talon TSi to build on. can i get an aftermarket rear bumper that will fit just the talon, without switching to eclipse tail lights? the talon tail lights look awesome, but i want to keep them and have a full body kit. or will the stock rear bumper look half normal with lets say, bomex side skirts and front bumper?

There is no body kit for a Talon.

there is actually a kit out there for a 2g talon, HOWEVER I do not think they make it anymore, and a used one will be hard to find. My suggestion, if you want to keep the talon tails, get the eclipse rear bumper and have a body shop mold/cut/shave and make it fit with your tails.

There is rear facia attachments... looks stupid if you ask me. I think their made out of fiberglass and we have urethane rear bumpers, so you can't mold them. You could get a fiberglass rear from Squidskins.com then mold it, or make something custom.

k its looking very difficult to keeping my tails without some body work, and im thinking gettin side skirts, front bomex bumper and keeping the stock rear bumper would look like crap? i'd get coilovers and could match the height of the car, but the pattern wouldnt be the same....how big of a deal would it be?

Just get the bumper cut and reglassed to fit, a little extra $ but so is the total eclipse conversion.
