2G 97 eclipse wont start-no lights come on

Last night I drove my car home and parked it, it was working fine. This morning I went to unlock my door with the keyless remote and nothing happened. I thought it was weird but unlocked my car the old-fashioned way with the key, got in, put the key in the ignition, tried to start my car and nothing happened... at all. No lights came on, nothing on the dash came on, nothing happened. I thought it was the battery and took it to get recharged. I came back, hooked the battery up, and got the same results as earlier. I also checked the fuses and made sure the battery was grounded. Can someone please help me?

Try and jump start it. It might be the alternator or corrosion on the connections.

If it just starts fine, then does it again, check to see if your battery terminals have come loose.
