96 TSi Alarm

I have a question about the stock security alarm that comes with the Talons. I just recently got an aftermarket Viper alarm installed and I wanna completely cut off the stock one. The installer of my alarm wont do it cuz its against their policy I guess...anyways, can anyone tell me how to do it, like is it a fuse or a wire I have to cut??

The factory alarm operates with your door locks. If your new alarm activates the door locks, then I would just leave it alone. Two alarms are better than one! If you do decide to try to bypass it you may interfear with some of the electrical components, such as, door locks, hood and truck sensors and interior lights. The factory did a nice job of intergrating it to the car

I understand what you are saying there and I agree but maybe I wasnt clear in my previous post. Sometimes when I use my key lock pad, the aftermarket one, and I open my doors the stock alarm goes off and the only way for me to stop it is to pop my hood and pull the IOD fuse. I just wanna knwo if there is a way to get around that problem.
