96 GSX Alarm System...

My alarm goes off everytime i open my door, even when its running. The key fob locks & unlocks the doors, but I dont see the Security light tun on anylonger.

Example. In the morning when I open my car door, the alarm will go off, I will get in, put the key in the ignition, "Start the car", get out (leave the door open so it wont go off when I get back in) let it warm up and let it cycle untill its done. Get back in, close the door and drive to work, turn off the car, open the door, set the alarm off, get out, lock it, and go inside with everyone looking at me like I can do somthing about it.

I really, really, don't want to do this anylonger. Any advice, Links, faqs, would be much appricated. Thanks.

Let me also add; Im not exactly looking for a 100% fix. Simply getting it to stop would be helpfull. Thanks in advance.

I had a couple minuets this morning to dink around and see if I couldn't disable this wack alarm before work. I poped open the kick panel fusebox and pulled the 10amp alarm fuse, which inturn stoped the sirun, but not the horn. I stuck the key in the ignition and turn it on. That immeditly stoped everything. I turned off the car, put the fuse back in, closed the door, locked the door. Bingo. GREEN Security light poped on.

I don't know why, or care. Just thought I'd share my results with any searchers..Problem solved..

I had the same thing happen when I got home from the dealer, luckily I did the same thing and it worked too
