95head/97block....CAS sensor issue

hey guys i would appreciate some help. basically the motor i dropped in my 95 talon tsi awd has the head from my previous motor a 95 and the block from a 1997 motor. i know that the 2ga and 2gb CAS sensor is positioned differently. since my car is a 95 and the head of my motor is 95 can i just connect my CAS sensor like i would if the whole engine was from a 95 or do i need to rewire my CAS sensor seeing how my block is from a 97. basically does the year of my block have anything to do with my 95 CAS sensor.
