Got the 20g and supporting ebay mods all together and at least halfway legit, and fired the beast up. Oil leak from HG. Pulled head. Gasket looked fine around cylinders but the leak was at the front passenger side corner of the block where the oil passage is. Deck surface is very good around cylinders but there are some raised spots nearing the outer edges of the block. Likely poor casting from the factory and the block has never been resurfaced. will be cleaning up best I can for the new Cometic I ordered. This may be a disaster but let's call it a science experiment. If it fails I will go back to stock gasket. Too broke to take to machine shop. Exhaust valves looked like you'd expect after 170k of running hard and lean on pump gas. Lots of deposits and even a little erosion on the edges. Ordered new GSC exhaust valves. Trying to get it back together for as little money as possible right now, planning a full build in the future. For now just the 20g, tubular mani, FMIC, water-meth, and straight pipe 2.5 to 3" no cat. Exhaust and intake mani port matched. Ebay FMIC wastegate wasn't flowing enough (boost creep) so I ported that out as far as I could. Also ported the stock 02 housing, and generally smoothed all transitions on the hot side. Will be happy to have it together and running within a week.

Decided to go with a stock HG with ARP's until I get the block and head resurfaced
