Has anyone gone to look at the white 95 TSI AWD for sale in Eagle river for 4200. I'm really thinking about buying it and keeping my other 95 stock as a reliable DD. I'm up at work right now so I won't be able to go see it for another week.

I haven't looked at it but have seen ad. It looks good but it does state has few problems plus it definetly looks lowered. Not so sure how ride would be given the crappy roads we have, might be a bit harsh. Looks ok if not mind putting a few dollars in it, wouldn't think be too much though.

I'm not scared to put some money into it and a lot of hours. I originally wanted a 5 speed but I couldn't pass up the deal on the 95 TSI AWD i bought the other week; and after driving it I kind of want to leave it stock and reliable. Not everyday you find a completely rust free DSM that's bone stock with 72k miles.

I know the owner's brother, and I've asked the owner for a mod list before but he didn't reply.

It is lowered, yes.
It's suppose to have a 16g, bigger injectors, 255 fuel pump, exhaust, intake, and I was told 272 cams but I'm not sure about that..

My friend says its slower than hell though, so probably a shitty tune or no tune at all.

The engine would need work I'm pretty sure, it think I was told it has a knock... not positive on that either

But if you offer him around 4k and know you have some engine work it could be a good deal.

I'm gonna sell my 95 gsx soon, it's got 123xxx.

I'm not paying 4000. I'd give him 3000 tops. My 95 with 72k miles and all stock with absolutely no rust was 3000. I got it 2 weeks ago in anchorage.
