I bought a running 1995 AWD TSi about 4 months ago with tons of problems. This was great because i always wanted a project car! local owner was selling the car for relatively cheap, and being that it was my first car i didnt know what i was getting my self into!



original problems: clutch worn out, bad struts, cold start, ugly enigne bay, millions of boost leaks, broken motor mounts, and several others.

what has been fixed/installed so far and future plans:
ACT2600 clutch
Megans EZ coilovers
AEM Fuel pressure reg- this caused the cold start because fuel was leaking back into the gas tank when the car shut off
PTE 880cc injectors
DSMlink v3
New spark plugs/ wires and sexy spark plug cover
New coolant temp and wideband o2 sensors
Thermostat and housing
Mishimoto radiator tubes
All new coolant hoses
T clamps for turbo set up
JNZ shifter bushings
Replaced ground wires
New front motor mount
Throttle body gaskets
Wire tuck
Smoked cam gear cover

Not really much done to the exterior besides hood pins and some work on the hood. Ill choose go over show any day

Plans for the future:
14b turbo probably has tons of miles on it so eventually ill upgrade to a MHI 20g along with manifold, and other accessories
dyno tune from ivey tuning
Transmission rebuild.... third gear synchro is really bad and i might as well rebuild the tranny considering the 105k miles it has.
HKS 272 cams and matching valves

Get a FP cast mani, ported with a 38mm Tail external flange include a blank off plate.
Good, cheap reliable, upgradable old school mani that is ready for 500+ HP and will take the punishment.

i was going more for one of them stainless steel manifolds from DN with an external gate.... they may be more expensive but it will make my bay look real nice

YESSSS! this kid me and jmac know has a farm house in sussex county that we always tear up in the winter
did my first AWD drift back in the dirt lot today haha i was so amazed i forgot to shift in to second :O

Did lots of work over the past few months with the body. Bought a 2gb spoiler, repainted it. Tinted out the tail lights and painted the center piece black/white. painted the trim, mirrors, and calipers. Polished the rotors. And probably a few other things. Got some new rims and slammed the frame to the ground. Also did some more stuff to the engine.

I sanded the old one down, painted the top white, taped off the letters, and painted the rest with a glossy black. Very easy!
