95 GSt injectors arent firing.

Ive got a 95 eclipse gst and it wont start. Its getting spark but it no fuel is getting into the combustion chamber. I checked to see if fuel is getting into the fuel rail and there is plenty!

I just did a headgasket and a timing belt.

I also found a wire connector that isnt hooked up. The connector im talking about is right on the end of the intake cam where the CAS normally is on 1gs and 97+ DSMs. I would get a pic but my dad has the camera.


Or why my injectors arent firing?

1 tooth no, 2 teeth maybe but probably not, 3 teeth maybe and probably yes, 4 or more

Its off by at most one tooth. According to the marks on the oil pump, crank pulley and cam gears. But it still didnt have much compression, when I did the compression test I forgot to make sure that the injectors werent firing, you think that would affect it enough to throw the numbers off by that much??

Probably not but TB off by even 1 tooth might as the valves are now opening and closing too early or late. Holding a straight edge across the cam gear centers helps to see how off their marks are (when crank is aligned obviously). Reports of loss of power usually go along with it off a tooth.
