Was wondering what would my best options be.

It shifts hard / slips going from 2 - 3.

Now the end clutch is bad, overdrive kicks off and on by itself but usually only when coasting 50 mph or lower. (Use to be 40 mph or lower)

Especially when the overdrive is off it will jerk a little before it goes into next gear when I'm doing about 40 - 45.

So I decided to use lucas as I know many people who used it and it does actually help it bit.

Option A: Am I better off replacing the end clutch, valve body, and torque converter.

Option B: Get another temp transmission and buy the entire IPT rebuild kit for the transmission.

Don't have too much play cash and this is my daily driver :(

I would definitely get the end clutch kit, a cheap aftermarket torque converter(maybe, might not be bad stock) "Translab" shift king with red/black springs(Depends on power/daily driver) a nice fast hard shift thats firm is healthy for an auto, less slippage, heat and wear on clutch bands friction parts. A lil Lucas additive for tranny fluid substitute is good too not all of it though. Upgraded valvebody with translab ~3000rpm stall you would have a mean street if affordable. Im in same $ situation with a stock 98 spyder gst with 80k mint.

I would get a spare with low miles if you can get your hands on one. That way you can upgrade the other one at your leisure. I have spare for my AWD and it's nice to know that I have a backup just incase. You don't want to be messin with the dail driver.:nono:
