95 Eprom ECU from an auto in a 5spd

Ok first off I searched for like 10 min and all I found was this http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128796&highlight=auto+eprom+ecu which talks about a 5 SPD ERPOM ECU IN AN AUTO.
I need to know will an EPROM ECU from an auto 95 Eagle Talon TSI AWD will work in a 5 SPD 95 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX??? Thanks for the responses

I have an eprom ecu in my 1g auto from a 5 spd. All I did was plug it in. There's no difference in auto ecu's and 5 spd ecu's. The only difference is that there is a TCU unit inside of auto's. They're right behind the ecu. You should be fine, just plug it right in.

I hate to bring back a dead thread, but to the OP. Did the 2g 95 auto eprom work in your 2g manual car?

It will work fine. The autos have the extra computer (the TCU) to run the tranny solenoids.

Also, think of it like this, all 2gs have 450cc injectors so the maps must be the same/similar. (Im 99% sure they are the same ECU)

That is simply not true, 1G auto comes with 390cc injectors.

2G auto and MT ECUs are identical.
