Occasionally it died by itself. But the other day it died and the only way it would idle is if i would give it gas. Now it won't even start. I'm not even getting a CEL. I tryed a new crank angle sensor/ fuel pump/fuel filter with no luck. It won't start. I need help!!!

I was looking at it today with my test light. i had the key on and unplugged the relays but can't seem to find power. makes me wonder if i'm testing it wrong?

+1 on the ASD relay. Maybe just try getting a new one from autozone/oriellys if they have one and testing it out? Worst case scenario you can just return it if that's not the issue. I would also try the cam sensor my 420a acted up like this awhile back and that was the issue for me. Easy way to see if your getting fuel would be to pull the fuel line from the fuel rail and see if your pump/filter replacement worked. And check coil/plugs/wires etc

yeah ill take the crank sensor back and pick up a relay. If that doesn't work ill just get all possible "problem sensors" from ebay. After i check the coils of course.

Update: Alright good news and bad. Good: the relays works. Bad: i can't find a ground on the wire that plugs into the relay (even with key on):banghead:? Whys this?

Look I have a super easy question. I already know what my problem is. I just want to know something before I begin the repair and it will not let me create my own tread...

I have a cam sensor that needs replacing and I wanted to know before I take the cam gear off that I actually have to take the cam gear off.... I thought I read somewhere that you don't have to remove the cam gear but looking at it that appears to be not true, so I wanted to be sure before I tired either method...

Bump* for the guy that started this tread.....

I like that.^^

You need to take off the cam gear, no way to get that sensor out of there with out removing the gear.
