I recently bought this gst and it has 94k miles on it. So the other day I did a compression test on it and it was about 178 to 180 compression across the board. I have owned one first gen and the compression was like 75 across the board and it only had 100k on it. So the question is could a normal 7 bolt engine with that many miles on it still have perfect compression without being rebuilt? Thanks.

I recently did a compression test on my 87k mile motor and it had perfect compression so I don't see why not. :thumb:

Yes. If the car was well taken care and not driven around constantly boosting it. Or the motor was replaced or rebuilt.
