Ok so i ordered the whole bracket from partstrain.com and when i got it i realized it had to have been for a 1.8L and so im in the process of returning it but i still have a bad mount. The driver side upper mount isnt too bad but when i shift into drive i have to wait a minute for the engine to move before i drive otherwise the engine jumps painfully forward. It feels worse than it looks. but i still want to replace it. after getting off the phone with parts train i ran over to the local junk yard and tore thru the 3 different 2.0l DOHC DSMs they have all of which had DESTROYED mounts... so i google searched, and craiglisted and ebayed till i got tired of looking at the internet and i called the local mitsubishi dealership but they want 120 bucks!!!! so i called the local japanese auto repair and asked how much it would cost to have an insert pressed in to the exsisting bracket and they said 90+ tax!!!!!
So my question is where can i get an OEM driverside L bracket with the mount already pressed in for under 100 bucks? I bought the one from parts train for 72 so i figure i could find one for roughly a few dollars more but i cant for the life of me find a website that sells them for my car.
Thanks for the help, Josh
