92 talon looking at

This a a 1992 eagle talon tsi awd. i needs a head gasket or water pump. there is no oil/antifreeze mix. there is no rear spoiler. clutch slips with hard launch, misfires in high rpms. ported evo3 turbo 34mm flapper, slim fans, 3inch turbo back exhasut, evo 3 o2 housing ported, evo 3 manifold ported, greddy profec spec 2 b.c. boost, oil press gauges, tint, cd player, 6x9. no rear intereior, rebult at 138k

he wants 2 grand with rims....but it has no A/C and like the ads says it misfires...about 5500-6000....he thinks its fuel cut...it does it in every gear.....and it overheat with about 20 mins of driving he says.....other then that it seems like a good ride and the passanger side fender is dented.....that do u guys think?

If it needs a head gasket I would not give him 2G's for it. And he it being very abovious about his abuse on the car. I'd say 1500 seems more reasonable.

Hate to be a stick in the mud but I dont think its worth the price. You can find much better Talons out there for a better price. I'd rather get a stock "working alright" talon then a modded DSM with problems. If you get this then your basically inheriting this other guys problems. Im sure if you waited a little while longer you will find a DSM for around 1500 thats in better condition than that.

Yeah I'd have to agree with them, wait for a better buy and try to get a stock "unmolested" one. Thats what I did, had to drive down to Chicago for it but was well worth it.

I would not pay 2gs for one with a blow head gasket. I think 1500 is fair. Also, you know from the mods, that it hasnt been babied.

Ya I paid 2200 for a GSX with rust and a blown HG. It had some other problems but I worked out all the bugs and got some body work. Im glad I bought it in the long run. The transfer case still leaks though.....I need to fix that somehow.

im willing to do work on the car....to get it running right but i just don't wanna get something that will end up hitting the bed 6 months later
