So I wrote to a company and this is what they had to say. (me)92 Projector headlights for an Eclipse. Is this something your company would make? Their is a great demand for these. Please let me know if this is something you can help me with. Thanks

(Them) Hello-
Thanks for your inquiry-
Unfortunately, the expense of producing these products are immense and only the most popular and newer vehicles are considered.
Regards
Chuck

(Me) Hey thanks for the reply, but how much of these headlights would you have to sell to make a profit. I'm a member of the DSM coumuinity and on every board or thread people talk about getting some, if I had to take a count It would I would say that their are thousands of people who want these lights for their 1G Eclipse. Eclipse's has been breaking records before all these Hondas and Nissan but still no love for us. Why? Are there Projectors for 92 Hondas and 92 Nissan and other cars that does not preform near to that of DSM's. Thanks for listing to my Rant.

(Them) Hiya-
Things made are not that easy..
It costs $80,000 for tooling and production must be minimum of 3000 pcs. So you see it is very expensive to produce products like this. It takes about 6 months for final production.
At a selling price of about $250.00 that is something like $750,000.00....
Since there are more Hondas sold, that is why they only make the most popular.
No help im sure, but at least I explained
Chuck

At this point I don't even think we could get 3000 Pcs to be sold, since the other person on here could not even get 50 people to sign up to get the other projectors made. Looks like we get no love from the vendors, as usual.

Better late than never. I also was waiting on this company to get back to me, only after e-mail after e-mail did they get back to me. The reply was written all in red and Cap's, I think he was a little annoyed with me. Well like Twizzle said, Time to make your own.

I am making my own now.
Hopefully should be done by August for the Shootout.
I will be sure to post pics.

I am just gonna polish the lenses and the maybe drop in some HIDs or the imatation version.. Its too much of a hassle. Projecters would be awsome but oh well.....

I myself already started on mine. I have a spare light I am mocking up. First I was just going to make some custom Halo's (angle eyes) for the headlight. The halo would be on the High Beam side of the light. I have already made the halo and set it up in the housing. I just need to figure some wireing and how abouts I will do that. I will either wire it to the parking lights or just use a seperate switch to congtrol it so I can turn it on and off. Now I just need to find the right HID projector. PC Talon. Which projector are you running with. I have seen one person use a Audi HID projector for their 92-94 headlight.

I got a set of headlights from the outgoing style Audi A6. I get the halogen, non-xenon ones. They use a H1 bubl for the projector and a H7 for the high beam. I will only be using the low beam. I am currently sanding down all the ridges on the inside of the 92-94 lenses.
I have spend about 4 hours and am about 2/3 down getting rid of the ridges.
