91 transmission up into a 2gb with 7 bolt

ok been doing some searching but no clear cut answer. since i fudged up my tranny im shopping for another one. as the title states can i put any 6 or 7 bolt transmission years 91-99 into my 97 2g with a 7 bolt engine?

The 1g transmissions don't have a place for the motor mounts. On a 1g the front/rear mounts are on the block on a 2g they are on the trans. I think its possible to swap the 2g bell housing but you will have to disassemble the whole trans to do that and you will also need a 1g or 2ga transfer case.

it would be easier to creat/fab a mount, but by that argument it would be even easier to just get a 2G tranny.
