Build Update:

It's registered! :tease:
Threw a new headunit in with the help of my 7 year old. He's super excited to help me work on this (and learn lots of new swear words haha).

Finally got to take it out for a drive today. Couple of things I've noticed:

1. I really need to work out the power steering. It's a PIA..
2. The dash rattles when idling which is really annoying unless I turn the radio up.
3. I started to check out the gauge pod setup... it honestly just made me sad..
-- The aftermarket water temp gauge doesn't work at all, tried to pull it off which is where I found some wifty sheetrock wall anchors holding the gauge pod on. Luckily the boost gauge and A/F gauge work.
-- I'll be looking to take this apart and more than likely put in the gauge vents along with some additional under the radio (voltage, oil pressure and oil temp).
4. For some reason the oil pressure gauge seems to be stuck beyond H however the car has been riding fine so I'm wondering if it's the sender or the internal gauge itself.
5. I'm more than likely going to need a new drivers side door panel. Apparently the thoughts to fix this car we self tappers and zip ties.....

Oh, and I really need a starter....

My son is super excited to help me work on this which is cool since I'm hoping maybe in 10 years for him to be driving this.

If anyone has a line on ANYONE with interior panels, that would be fantastic. I've pulled all the part numbers out of the book and keep searching with no luck.
