Hey, OK well here's the deal. I have a 90 motor in my 95 gsx. The guy i bought the motor from also gave me his coil on plug set up from slowboy. It's simple, the 90' cop has 4 wires, my wiring harness for coil pack only has 3. what wires do i put where. the one on my harness is red-power, black-ground, and other color-signal, I'm assuming, I don't have the car in front of me I am at work. And the ones on the SlowBoy C.O.P. is i am assuming 1 power, 1 ground, and 2 signal. AM i supposed to just put the 2 signal ones together and that will turn the 4 wires into 3 so i can plug it right up? What do i do. I appreciate all the help. Thanks.

Simply not possible AFAIK. You are going to have to use your stock 2g coil pack and power transistor. You can actually use a PT and CP from and 91+ car.

Actually it is very possible.

The reason there is 4 wires on the 90 is because the Tach driver is built into the coilpack, not the ignitor like the 91+ cars. All you have to do is eliminate the tach driver box from the harness for your COP, and wire in the plug from your coil pack instead of the 4 wire from the 90.

There is an ignition 12v power to the coils, all the same color wire, which goes to the larger of the three wires on your harness. The other two are signal grounds back to the ecu, I dont remember the wire colors on the factory harness, so just try one way and then the other until you get the correct firing.

Any questions feel free to call, its much easier to explain on the phone! :thumb:
