6cm housing with big 16g???

from what i understood, big 16g's came with 7cm exhaust housings...how was i able to fit mine into a 6cm housing??? or, when referring to 6,7,or 8 cm, thyere just referring to the opening of the exhaust housing that bolts to the manifold?

i forgot where i saw comparisons from a 6cm to a 7cm housing but I've seen several b16G turbos with a 6cm housing...

but yea, i have no idea, but i've done it too !

The 6cm/7cm/8cm stuff refers to the size of the turbine housing; it's similar to the way you can measure the A/R of a T3 housing.

You can use any of the aforementiond housings with a TDO5H turbine wheel, but the 6cm will probably be to restrictive for anything but a very mild setup.
