60mm TB question.

First off. I have a 96 GSX. I've been looking for a 1g head/60mm tb/intake manifold to swap out when i put in my new turbo.

I've read that the popular 60mm TB and Intake manifold was only avaliable on the 91-94 Turbo E/L/T, is that true? I had somone pull off a Cylinder Head, Intake Manifold, and TB from a 2.0l N/A 94 talon. I know the N/A and Turbo 2.0l cylinder head are the same other then the cams. Did I make a mistake buying the N/A Intake Manifold and TB for this 1g head swap? Or is the 1g N/A 2.0L Intake Manifold and TB the same size as the Turbo models? Thanks..

No wonder I couldn't find the answer to my question. When I was searching. The N/A 94 TB has a 64mm inlet that tapers down to 60mm at the throttle plate. I was searcing for 60mm (turbo only)

Looks like I will have to replace the seal and plug one Vac line! I'll just follow the instructions on VFAQ for the seal, and use a silicone TB elbow for my UICP. Thanks

They are the same (head) besides the cams in the head. I'm going back to the junkyard this weekend to pull my nt 1g head for 30 bones I already got the 2.4 6-bolt block last weekend now the head is next.

nice. Think i got you beat though. $26 for the compleate head & $2 for the valve cover!
