$6000 to$8000. What type of new car should i get?

Sup all.I just got a call for a loan i applied for a few days ago ,and they told me i need a five year or newer car.They havent decided on how much cash there gunna give me, but said it whould be around six to eight thousand.i was thinking a tiburon,celica gt,or simular. It also is just for this one particular lot ,so i have to buy it from a dealer .What others do you guys recomend?

It doesnt have to be brand new.Just newer than five years.iv'e found Tiburons and Celica gts.But there has to be other options.I just mean new to me.Not brand new

well Celicas and tiburons are kinda "show no go" BS cars... I'd personally rather have a completely new hyundai or kia that I wouldn't ever have to worry about repairs and such on. just a nice daily driver that will be well taken care of.

I agree with him. I bought my wife a 05 Hyundai Tucson SUV and I'm happy to have their 5 year, 60k bumper to bumper warranty.

But if you want a 2 door import, Celica or Tibbys might be a good choice. And who did you go to for a loan? I bought my 98 Talon last year and financed it through a bank. The bank wouldn't give me enough money that the seller wanted, so I got another personal loan for the car. but oh well, I have my AWD car.

Well im not looking for a shitbox from hell type car, and i know i cant get anything close to performance as my 1g.Im trying to talk them into letting me get any year car,but scince my credit is brused,im kinda limited.I found a few tt 300zx's.Nice ones to ,but to old for my bank.And yes its a bank loan but there limiting me.i was thinking v6 tiberon cause some a re still under warrenty and there not that bad .Anyone else own one and what do you think?

Well do you really need another compact sport car? Why not get something different? Pickup? Small SUV, Wagon?

Cause im single, no damn kids,gas milage, and cause i can! I hate trucks.I was in the mini truck scene befor dsms.Ill never go back to trucks or simular.I jus want a newer sport compact.if i can talk my bank into gettin what i want, im going for the 95 tt 300zx iv been looking at.

Well sure you can, but it's only going to be capable of what the car you have right now already does (or less). Anything in the price range will probably be a let down compared to a 1G DSM

Unless you get a fixer-upper. IN which case I say go with an MR2 turbo...
