6 bolt swap into a 2g HELP!

HEY DSM TUNERS I NEED SOME HELP!! I ORDERED A REBUILT 6 BOLT ENGINE FOR MY 95 TSI.. WITH ME LOOKING AT THE 6 BOLT I SAW A CANISTER CONNECTED TO THE RUBBER NECK HOSE THAT RUNS FROM THE TURBO.. IS THERE NO MAS? ON THE 1G 6 BOLT?? AND THERE ANYTHING ELSE I HAVE TO ORDER TO MAKE THIS SWAP PERFECT OR DOES IT GO IN THE 2G WITH NO PROBLEM?

The 1g has a MAS but you should be using the one from your 2g. It flows more and no mods will need to be made to wiring for it.

sounds like the BCS ( boost control solenoid ), it also sounds like you need to do a little more research

About a month ago someone posted that they bought a 1g motor for a 2g swap.
Well the motor came with a weird plastic container coming off of the J pipe and into this container.
If I am thinking of the right thing, the you can just remove it.
