I'm still waiting on times for the events and fees.
The car show is on 6/28 and is a $10 entry fee. The next day they are doing 100' drags, which is pretty much a launch fest. Awesome time though. I would love to see a caravan of DSMs pulling in and taking over
. It's in a high traffic area with a lot of exposure. The Racino itself has gambling, bar, restaurant, etc etc.
Monticello Racino is on Route 17B in Monticello NY. About 90 mins Northwest of NYC-2 hours East of Scranton PA, ~2 hours West from Danbury CT, and ~2 hours Southwest of Albany NY.
If anyone is interested, let me know. We can set up other events for us to do along with this i.e. photo shoot, swap meet, cruise afterwards, etc etc. I'd love to take a pic of a line of DSMs cruising down the Hawk's Nest (If you don't know it's a very windy, yet scenic portion of Rte 97 NY/PA border that's been used in Honda, BMW, and MeBenz commercials.
I live local, so accomodations are no problem. Anyone is welcome to stay.
