550's in...but a leak?

Today i got around to putting in my 550's, but after the install there is a leak coming out of the injector nearest to the driver side.

All the others seem to be sealed fine with no leak, but there is a small leak from that one. Excuse my description, but I think its the black rubber gasket/rubber piece that sits on the bottom of the injector. All 4 o-rings were in fine shape, so i dont think thats the problem, or even if it could from where the gas seems to be comign from.

Replace the spacer and see if that helps, they turn to plastic and can crack over time.

Are you leaking gas or boost/vacuum? If you leaking gas then the o-ring on the top of the injector was damaged during install. If it's a boost/vacuum leak the insulator seal in the head is hard and leaking.

i recently put 550s in also that were leaking everywhere. i put new o-rings on it still leaked...finally i doubled up on the o-rings and it has not leaked since. do not go to an auto parts store and buy an injector o-ring kit though(they rape you). just take one of the o-rings and have them match 4 more up. the problem was not the lower one, it was the upper one, and it kept getting cocked sideways a bit. good luck man, hope you have an afc or something, if not then i would put the 450s back in.

I do have an AFC.

The orings seemed fine, but when i put on the spacer, it did seem cracked a little on the bottom. Ill do an O ring and spacer just to be safe, thanks guys
