Ok So I Have This 5 Inch Tach That Came With The Car. Its A 95 Rs. So I Found Out That My Signal Wire Is Eather White Or White With Brown Checkers. Seeing Is How I Dont Hhave A White, Its Got To Be The Other. Well I Have Everything Hooked Up And When I Turn On My Car I Get Nothing. I Know The Tach Works Because It Lights Up And When I Set The Shift Light, The Needle Will Go Up So I Can Set It Where I Wnt It. I Just Dont Know What The Problem Is And Why When I Am Running The Car The Needle Dont Move. I Have 3 Wires Red-12v, Black-ground, Green- Signal... Am I Just Mistaken On The Signal Wire? I Was Reading On 2gnt.com That Sometimes People Have To Cut Some Other Wires On The Tach Or Something. I Dont Know. Im Just Getting Very Mad At My Car Because I Spent About 6-7 Hours Trying To Figure It Out Today. Thanks For Everyones Help....

Oh man.. There is no need to capitalize every word, makes it soo hard to read!
Sorry I dont know the answer, but you may get a proper answer if you edit your post to make it easier to read. ;)

sorry i didnt notice. i had caps lock on and it made it like that for some reason. my bad.....

i have no clue, some kind of nockoff. it has some gas flames on the guage face(if that helps you at all) the needle dont move at all. i pulled the guage cluster off my car and touched the tach wire to every single pinout on the harness and one of the pinouts made it jump a little bit, but when i wired it in i got nothing. the only time it moves is when i turn the car on and off it will jump a little bit.

a friend told me that i would need a tach addapter and i have to wire that into my coil pack or something. if true, can someone draw up a picture showing how it has to be wired up and what a tach addapter looks like so i can make on myself....

Autometer has a tach adapter that may work, and instructions for an eclipse/talon are included with it.

i know that. i wanted to know what they look like. a drawing or something so i can make one.

well the way i did it was, i tapped into my coil wires where they plug in with a test light; And attached the tach to the signal wire (dont remember the color though, i will check later if it will help) but you said you did that right? it should work. otherwise thats all i know. . . .

no i didnt do it at the coil. maybe it will work. are you talking about one of those 3 wires? is one a signal wire? i tryed it at the ecu and behind the guage cluster. letting me know that color would be great. thank you
