I’m trying to convert my 4g64 to a 4g63T
Am I going in the right direction?

There is a difference in the 1g and 2g heads. It’s pretty easy to tell when you see it, the ports are much bigger. So whichever you end up with make sure you getting a matching intake manifold.

The head is a rebuilt 1997 GST 2g 7 bolt head
But problem IDK if where to look to see if my Spyder GS is a 6 bolt or 7 bolt

Since we dont know which 4g64 you have, I would guess it is a 7 bolt.
The point is you will not be turning your 4g64 into a 4g63, you still would have a 4g64, your thread name is misleading and confusing. Maybe you can change it.
