wanted to know is it worth changing the injectors to afermarket 450cc injectors.... purple tops

I waned to know if these injectors will be effecient enough for a big 16 g turbo... Only reason I'm iasking that is because alot of people say you can run a big 16g of your stock injectors... An I was thinking, isn't the stock injectors for my car close to 450? So I shouldn waste my money (80$) if they are close in size right?... Srry if the question seems choppy but I'm posting from my phone... Lol

Stock injectors are 450's so swapping for 450's isn't going to do anything.

+1. If you want, you can sell your injectors, take that $80 you were going to spend and use it to upgrade to 560cc evo injectors or even 650's for a good price. Your going to need fuel management though.

i got 550's in my trunk where can i sell my stock and the 550's so i can get bigger ones? i have a fpr but idk if its good a shop told me its for carburated engines wth?

Carbed engine require much less fuel pressure (usually 6-12 psi) where as Fuel injection requires 50-80psi to run properly

Stock injectors are 450, no need to buy a replacement set thats the same size.

You can sell them on the Classified section on here, or Ebay, or Craigslist.

1g cars require fuel pressure to be at 37 psi.
2g cars require fuel pressure to be 43 psi.

Our cars come stock with a Fuel Pressure Regulator. Aftermarket regulators are usually ADJUSTABLE Fuel Pressure Regulator's.

Exactly, our cars have 450's stock. They will be good for about 12-15psi on that turbo depending. I ran out of fuel on my 16g with 550's at 20psi.

Just make sure you have something to control the bigger injectors. Some people think by sticking bigger injectors and a fuel pump on their car they'll be able to run more boost but without a fuel control system your computer's going to think it's still running the stock injectors. Your bigger injectors are going to get a signal meant for the 450s and your car's going to run like poop.

yea i know... im just going to get my ecu reflashed an get everthing tuned to how its suppose to run...
