I have a 96 Eclipse with a 420a motor in it (obviously an RS). I just bought a 95 GSX for really cheap. The GSX's body isn't even close to being in as good as shape as my 96 is in. I have body work done to my 96 and interior. I was wondering if it was possible to swap the motors. I realize this question has been asked before, but since I have the motor mounts and all the parts needed to swap however, i was wondering if this would be an easier job. A few things i need to change though....The GSX is Auto and AWD. I am going to get a manual tranny for it and see if i can get rid of the AWD transfer case. Please give me some feedback on this swap.

Yeah seriously, take your doors, hood, fenders, bumpers, interior, and whatever else off of your RS and put it on the GSX and then get that car painted, you'll be MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHH happier having the GSX, and you'll spend less money on paint then you will on doing a complete motor swap, even more money if you try to do the AWD conversion too. It's not a simple swap, do some searching, I'm sure you'll come to the decision just to swap your RS parts to the GSX.
