do's the 420a have forged pistons??? and how much hp can I get if I got cams

No on the forged pistons if you mean they come stock and Do you mean camshaft or cam sprocket

2gnt says 20hp max for cams and 5 or 8 i forget for cam gears. but thats if you have all the previous stuff done. but we look down upon bench dynoing and "how much power from this" questions.

Expect 1whp from a set of Crower 2s on an otherwise stock 420a, and I'm pretty sure you won't be let down. Just like any other internal modifications, cams will produce the most power when used as a part of a comprehensive engine build. An intake will give you more horsepower when you have the intake and TB ported, a massaged head with cams and adjustability, and a complete exhaust system of the proper ID than it will by itself. Remember, build the shit out of a 420a without any power adders and you're still going to be under 200hp. Food for thought...

The stock pistons are eutectic. Meaning about 85% aluminum and 15% silicon. The rods are forged powdered steel that have been shot peened.
