I just rebuilt the upper end of a 97 esi for my girlfriend.. i drove it a lil bit and it seems to idle way high from time to time.. will a broken pcv valve line or vacuum leak cause this.. she doesnt remember if it had that problem before.. i noticed that that box that bolts to the intake mani stays has a hole in it also.. lemme know what you guys think.. and i already adjusted the throttle cable its good!

yeah I mess with both turbo and non turbo, i got a 95 non turbo project that i've been working on for a while now almost complete as the idle air it should show up a code, check all vacuum lines, even check the connectors or wires

i'm not gonna take it loose.. would'nt a scan tell you if that was bad? i did a scan cause the ce light kept comin on. the only thing it said was vacuum leak which half of it got fixed, { the vc hose to tb}, and vss which i already knew was'nt connected.

Did you already check the "egr" line for leaks? that happen to me twice,
