420A Engine swap for 98 Mirage

Either several thousand dollars, or hundreds of hours of custom fabrication and wiring. The two cars use completely different engines.

well wut can i put in it to get atleast 400 hp wut about a 4g63t do they sell any kits?

A turbocharger? There are tons of things you can do, your question is far too vague.

It probably would be one of a kind though...
Better off putting a Mitsu motor in.

yea i think im just gonna try and put a 4g63t in it my dad does fab work so it should be no prob for him but wut about cv axles will i need some made up? and wut about wireing harness wut will i need in that like i just would like some tips ### im gonna do it but i would like to have a game plain before i play ball so im just doing my homework.

You need to do alot of research before attempting anything

For starters the only 4g63t that will "fit" into it will be the Evo 4-8 engines. you would run the Evo wiring harness and run either a 4g64 transmission from a third gen Eclipse or an Evo trans same model as engine and have to lock it to fwd. (not an easy task)

Other possible swaps:

4g64 from an eighth generation Galant or third generation Eclipse. Fairly easy swap main difficulty is the mounts of course have to be custom fabricated. Old News!! 4G64 Swapped Into A 2002 Lancer - evolutionm.net (Lancer engine layout is the same as yours) in all other countries "Mirages" are known as Lancer CE's

6a12 mivec n/a. This swap is the main swap done overseas. Mivec Owners Group • View topic - 96 Gen 2 Hatch Rally Project this one is showing a hatch (not made in the u.s.) The engine and trans would have to be imported and taken out of a Mitsubishi FTO.

6g72 (8g Galant or 3g Eclipse) This swap has been done yet the documentation is scarce.

6a12tt (imported off 7g and 8g Galant VR4's, hard swap, crammed engine bay, and a lot of time and money
6a13tt (same as above.)

what about an evo 4 motor will that be my best bet for an engine swap?
