Ok I have run out of Idea's So I thought I would see what you guy's Think. For a non Turbo Set up what would be the best all around build. I was thinking of going with a 2.2 DOHC Stroker. But what brand of Cam Shafts, Cam Gears, Pistons, Rods Ect Ect. Would you use? What in your opinion would be the best compression. And what do you think the estimated Hp would be at the Tires after install?:dsm: :thumb:

Go with the stroker, level 3 cams (Crower 3/Crane 018), minimum 10.5:1 CR, headwork, full exhaust and you could be one of the more powerful of the NT cars.

And a Greddy E-manage unless you can somehow figure out how to rewire your car to work with an AF/X 97' race version ECU. I think its been done.
I would go all out 11:5:1 and crane 0018 cams with PT rockers and adjusters.
Howell Automotive or VT engines has blocks or engine kits for 2.2L
Either company is good, its your call. Je or CP pistons eagle or crower rods doesnt matter as much as turbo when it comes to rods..
ARP extrude hone your intake manifold.
solid motor mounts etc.
2.75 full exhaust if you dont have that already.
ground wire kit. DR1665 sells em.
AF/X is working on a long tube header. Fast fabrications has one as well.
Also a LSD like Retro-Fit helps. also their cat, or just run a test pipe.
Nitto 555r tires
RX-7 3rd gen wheels. (light).
Get rid of your wing (you dont need it).
Should be at 200hp with those above mods the Dr. stated.

extras:
crankscraper
fluidyne radiator
160 degree thermostat
Look into a methanol injection setup as well so you can raise the octane level of your pump gas. You might want it when you up the cp that high. snowperformance.net
