2G 4 quarts of oil came/busted out while driving

Thanks for all the help guys. As mentioned from someone I'm not to knowledgable about dsm's yet. I really like the dsm world and put a lot of money ( 2 grand is a lot for me right now) into my car. I'm kinda stuck right now for it is my only car and wish I could let it sit in my drive way until I find the problem with my car. I'm going to fix it by all means it is just hard times right now. Being released from prison isn't helping getting a job. Another problem I seem to be having is it feels/sounds like the car is revving really high at low rpms. Anyone know what could be happening? I'm going to start a new thread for the stuff that is happening now. I hope you all could follow and help me out. I really appreciate all who are taking there time to help me out with advice and all suggestions given are highly appreciated. I couldn't thank you all enough. I know everyone has there daily lives and for you all to take time out your day to send a few helpfull words is greatly appreciated.

Today my car shut off while cruising at around 60...

Pulled over to the side of the road only to find that my filter & housing had dumped 4 quarts of oil out in about a 1/2 mile stretch.. The interesting thing is my gauge red that i had pressure the entire time. Crank rotates but the cams don't. At the least I'd imagine i need valves & cams...

Gonna drop the pan & pull the head tomorrow to see the damage

This happed to me right after putting in the 68hta,950cc injectors and ecmlink. I only went about a hundred yards when my oil pressure dropped. Had someone from the shop bring me some oil and a 24mm socket and ratchet and oil and crawled under the fro t of the car and got it fixed and put oil in the car. Next day at work put it on the lift. Got a new o ring for the oil cooler housing and put red lock tight on the stud and torqued it down. Best thing to do is replace the O ring so it doesn't leak.

Agree. Op you need to drop your pan if its the only car you have and funds are tight right now I would assume you can't afford a complete rebuild. Play it safe and check them bearings before its to late.
