i just bought a 4 bolt viscious rear end. im just wondering if it is going to make a big difference in launch and putting the power to the ground compared to my 3 bolt non lsd. will it launch better? is it a direct replacement. let me know

I would say you will notice little or no difference in launching or putting power down. Basically it's just insurance if you are going to be launching the car hard or drag racing. The 3bolt just won't hold up to the lauches that the 4bolt will.

so if where the driveline is 4 bolts than its a 4 bolt

No. Both the 3 and 4 bolt rear ends use 4 bolts to attach the driveline to them. Look on the backside of one of your rear wheels, where the axle meets the hub. You will see where the end of the axle is bolted to the hub and there will be three bolts there, since your car was built pre- 1992.5. Check out the link in one of the above posts and you will see pictures and a very in depth explaination of the differences between the rear ends and why one would want to swap to a 4 bolt and exactly what parts are needed.
