Wonderful little update on the car! I took it up the mountains to Vail a couple nights ago to see how it would do with steep inclines and long interstate driving. The verdict is, I forgot how much fun these cars are on i-70. With the new upgrades (as small as they are) I was passing quite a few people on the uphil portions without coming close to WOT.
One downside was a big snowstorn at 11pm over Vail Pass and my DWS tires didn't do quite as well as i'd like. I'm used to having Blizzaks on during the winter months which are unstoppable. But I still felt safe, just not like a tank.
But no overheating issues, oil burning issues, vacuum leaks, boost leaks, turbo spike etc...the car is a wonderful little road trip machine!
