Sparks,
Nevada
I got this eclipse in a trade for my 94 ej1 honda civic and a 95 325is with a blown motor. When i got the car it had 0 compression in the 3rd cylinder and smoked like a chimney. And it had a pretty bad oil leak from the front case.
This eclipse has been previously modified and im not to sure what all has been done to it, so this might be more of tear down and then build journal. I was looking to make a track worthy daily at first to get a better feel for the car, and eventually a dedicated track car. Im not sure where to start a partslist/plan for the car cause im not sure where its at already, but this is what i know now.
I will update along the way.
When i first got it home, next to my daily.
6 bolt motor
Eprom ecu with ecmlink v3
Fp exhaust manifold
Garret gt35
Fmic
Tial wastegate
3in exhaust all the way back
Arp head studs
Aftermarket fuel rail
Aftermarket fuel pressure regulator
Balance shaft delete
Manaul boost controller
Speed density
Braided fuel lines
Blitz turbo timer
Innovative a/f gauge
The plan of now is pull the head and check its condition. Then possibly pull the block and get it honed. And replace the rings and bearings. Do all maintance work before reinstall. I replaced the engine harness already as it was pretty ugly.
