Hey all,
Been wanting to post this up for a while now. I designed these almost 3 years ago and have personally ran them on my car for 2 full years. There's been no signs of fatigue, bending or uneven pad wear. But of course, it would also depend on the quality of rotor and pad you will end up running!
The caliper sits over the rotor in such a way that the pads sit flush with the rotor and do not allow any ridges or grooves to form along its edge. The bracket works with a 1G 4 piston caliper from a 1990-1993 3000GT (shorter mounting ears) but with a rotor from a 2G 3000GT which has the 313mm (12.3") diameter. The thickness of the bracket is 10mm (0.4") and made from steel. I have used primer and gloss black paint to give them protection and a nicer finish.
They also come with 4 thicker spacers which may or may not be needed depending on the choice of rotor, as the standard 3kgt rotor height is 45mm, so the spacers help with centering the caliper over it perfectly. The kit also comes with the required bolts and washers for an easy installation.
Price is $130 shipped (tracking included) to all states, but if you're from Europe it may be a different price on shipping!
