Hi guys I'm new and need help. My 97 420a n/t Eclipse has a check engine light and I'm pretty sure it's for my O2 as before that code came up and went out.

I have a low idle at around 500 rpm normally it's at 800 or 900. I did my timing belt it hasn't skipped or anything. New harmonic balancer belt, everything. Car still idles bad and feels bouncy if sitting like pa pa pa pa and bouncing on that. I don't know what to do. I have the new O2 and everything. I also have a exhaust leak.

And if i put car in reverse and reverse it tries to stall out.

Please help, I love this car and have big plans

Ok I'll check now and its ok if you could put a pic later would be apreciated.

Its a little off topic, but is it a good trade my 2gNT for a GST that dosen't hold boost and a CEL light for O2 sensors?

My engine is shaking my car and my motor mount spacers are so gone its not funny

Well sounds to me with either car your gonna have to invest some money fixing them! The question for u is do you wabt to spend money on the car u have or spend money fixing a car with a turbo. You gotta weigh the pro n cons of both cars. Utimiltly that a choice only you can make.

Me i keeping my 420a if i want turbo ill build it up later. Everyone will tell you to go awd turbo. But it depends on what u want.

Pm me cause i probly have enough parts laying around to fix your car now
