420A 2GN/T motor the same as a Neon motor?

Theres more then one trim of Neon as well with diff specs on HP and TQ one has more then the eclipse stock and ones has less. I researched the specs awhile back when i heard of the 420a being in the neon as well, and found one had like 150 hp and the other was like in the mid to high 130 hp range i dont remember the exact numbers. As for the guys with the eclipse turbo engines coming in here and ragging on the 420a's..... correct me if im wrong but this is the N/A section why are you in here, and dont be hating on a car just cuz it dont have a turbo, if the 420a came stock with a turbo itd be pushing around the same if not more hp then your cars, just ask or look at some of the guys with the 420a who have put turbos on there car. Why are you all hating so much? this is a site for ALL fellow dsm'ers to come together share knowledge and common interest, grow up stop with the internet beef, cuz yall look like fools when you do so. = non bias GROW UP!

That's because the head is different. I'm almost positive it's just the block that's the same. Either way, it doesn't matter, the 420a sucks.

ive vowed to and have kept up my goal of only answering comments like that with a "*sigh*, not agian" answer instead of arguing its not worth it.

Yes, and since it seems the draw toward that drain is getting too strong, I'm putting a plug in it right now.
