2GB Eclipse GSX Wheels Need Centercaps Info Needed

Now I know about Machv site but 12 bucks ea I think there are better options. My question is was there a diffrence in size and color from 95-96 to the 17in 97-99 wheels? ebay has a bunch listed and like 15 bucks a set but I dont want to buy it to find out there wrong size or wrong color. I have a brand new set of 2gb rims that where remanufactured but they did not come with the caps.

Any help would be appreiated or if someone knows the exact size of a oem cap from that rim. I have gst wheels but caps are obviously chrome havent sized it up to see if they are same diamater though.

Do you need the measurement of the outside of the cap? Or the i side part where it slides in? Why does color matter? Paint it

The center caps should all interchange. I currently have a gst cap in my front left. As for color.. I would presume anything but chrome should match. My evo caps look about the same as the gs*(sorry my _ key is broken) caps and they are about the same as the gst cap I have. But I've never honestly put them side by side to compare.

EDIT: Mine are all like this. Only more rusty.

I recommend you get center caps from the either the late 3g or 4g eclipse. They fit differently, and stick out a bit, but snap in and don't use any metal clips to rust. I like the 4g style that have the chrome three-diamond.

I'm having the same problem but with 98 Talon center caps. I just want to know if a 16" 1g center caps are bigger or smaller than a 17" 2g center cap.

I have a set of 1g caps but no 2g caps to compare. I wanna see if the 2g ones will fit my Evo 8 Enkeis I got. My 1g ones fit but another half inch and they'd be perfect.

Sorry so long to reply a lots been going on but finally got around to installing the rims minus caps. Both would be nice. I got the gst cap (chrome) and checked it to my new rim and seems to be slight play #MR244232 is the number of my cap so they must have made a different size for the 97/99 gsx 17" wheel. I measured cap I have: outer diameter 2 3/16 (55.56MM) and logo side 2 1/8 (53.97MM)

Well the Chrome one I have seems to be a little play #MR244232 Does yours? Is it supposed to? , My local part store says #MR761468 is the one I need. You happen to have factory cap to be able to check the part # ? At this point ill spend the money for the correct cap. Thanks for your time.
