I have never heard of TYC headlamps. Why are do you want to get rid of your projectors? Have you seen these ones? They looks really nice...

If the TYCs look exactly stock, why get those if you could get OEM (aftermarket lights are notorious for leaking and condensation, if you want to stick with the stock look, stay OEM). And so many people sell their OEM healights on ebay and right here on DSMTuners, you shouldnt have a problem finding them. But do check out the link above.

the TYC's are stock OE replacements. I will never buy a set of projection headlights ever again. the ones i have were $350 a while back, the backs melted off, the adjustment bubbles are in the light some were. The regular light is as bright as a bic lighter, the high beams are in the trees, one projector lens cracked, asbolute garbage. I would rather take my changes with condensation then these things. On top of all this, my one turn signal conection is bad, after replacing all the turn signal bulbs, turns out its the connector that came with the projectors.

WTF That really sucks. Well, just go for OEM then. It's not worth getting aftermarket OEM copies of anything, OEM will always be better, since it's made to spec. Not worth risking a cheap copy if youv'e got the real thing, IMO.

I just checked TYC's main website. There are no Eclipse headlights that they manufacture at the moment. I've never heard of TYC headlights...are you sure?

TYC makes alot of aftermarket headlights/taillights for most popular cars.

google TYC and see what comes up.

as far as projector ones, you guys are just retarded or something. if youre getting bad visibility on low beams and the highs are up in the trees, you need to stick some washers between the headlight assembly and mounts. youre geting crappy visibility cause theyre not aimed right. park your car about 2 feet from a solid wall(garage door works) and set them so the flat line of dispersal is about the same level as the headlights. kinda hard to explain, but sounds like 90% of the people on here just slapped them on and didnt do any aiming and bitched.

as far as melting assemblies, the H3 bulb that comes with the projectors wont get hot enough to melt them. im betting someone is using different bulbs with different wattage's........

i love my projectors. so nice to be able to see road reflectors and reflective text on freeway signs from a mile out.

My good friend Nick owns teamxtrememotorsports (www.teamxracing.com). Go to this site and email him. If there is a number on there call him, if not and you want it PM me. He can get a pretty good deal on the TYC lights.

He is saying they are out of stock for a few months, damnit!

I've had the tyc oem headlights on my car for over 2 years now. They haven't leaked or fogged up on me, and are really nice quality. Somebody hit me and the body shop got these headlights instead of the oem ones which were way more expensive.

Call around to some of the body shops in your area and ask them where they get their aftermarket lamps from. You should be able to find them locally.

Well i checked almost every internet place in the world, no one has them. according to the guy mentioned above, they are back ordered atleast 2 months. So, looks like im getting the stockers. o well, ill wait for another good deal like this.

i just bought some TYC for my F-150,i bought the Lighting stock looking ones, look way better then stock,i had them on all lastnight, drove 1 1/2 and back to pick up a family member and they where off at the most 20 mins, but they haven't started melting yet,i guess only time will tell-Andy
