i've got a 95 talon tsi awd. and this weekend i seemed to have broken my drivers side rear strut mount.

im looking for some new ones to do both sides howevr im finding pictures of the parts online and they dont seem to be what im looking for. every part that i see says its for the front struts.

does anyone know if all all four corners get the same upper strut mount? mine seems to be a small steel plate with 3 stud that fasten through the top of the strut tower..

if anyone has changed there rears.. or know if the front and rear are the same part please let me know.

Solution
It seems that only the driver side always get rusted to hell while the passenger looks brand new. Ive done them on a 97 Eclipse and on a 95 Talon. BOTH cars had the driver rusted and passenger still look shiny as new! Go check out yours.

Go check on ebay. I believe you can get both for like $50. OEM will cost you ~$50 for one.

Here ya go:

Solution
thanks guys.

im just hoping i can get the right parts.. my car is 3 hours away and i only see it once a month during the winter.. so i dont want to waste a whole weekend if i get the wrong ones.

maybe ill stop by the dealer and see if they have a exploded diagram like jnz tuning does.

Sure but expect to pay more at the stealership.

Good luck with the job!

Oh and make sure you have spring compressors for the job.

Yup dealership is going to cost more. When mine rusted out, I couldn't find one online so I had to go to the devil, ended up being a dodge dealership's parts department that had what I needed, wasn't very cheap, but got me back on the road.

Better be safe than sooooorry.

But I do remember faintly the rears not having that much tension. Or I may be thinking of some other random car I worked on.
